These builds are meant for the HTC Kaiser. The HTC Kaiser known as the HTC TyTN II at retail. There are a variety of carrier branded versions of the Kaiser, including the AT&T Tilt or AT&T 8900/8925 and the T-Mobile MDA Vario III.

In general, you should choose the newest bundle download. The bundles include all the files you will need to boot Android using Windows Mobile. More advanced users can look at the experimental section for new testing files.

Android is currently not stable, and many builds contain regressions, so if a specific build is causing problems, try an older one to see if it resolves your problem. If it does, be sure to report the problems you're having, and then try any new builds that seem to address your issue.

In an effort to streamline the release process, releases have begun relying on the user acquiring the “basefiles” (zImage, initrd.gz, default.txt, etc.) in a separate package from the userspace files (system.img, system.sqsh, etc.) Here you can find the latest basefiles. These should work with any build.

Sometimes the kernel image is updated more often than the basefiles package. If there is a zImage file listed here newer than the newest basefiles, simply replace the zImage in the latest basefiles with the newest zImage from below.

These builds are usually .zip files that contain everything you need to get Android on the HTC Kaiser up and running. They are great for new users who just want to get a feel for Android, but sometimes don't include the latest updates. For more advanced users, pulling in files from the above sources will ensure you always have the most up-to-date build possible.
